Otis
A Forever Home Animal Rescue is helping find a new home for Otis, a two year old Treeing Walker Coonhound mix currently living in Lake Wales, Polk County, FL.
Otis is an energetic, fun-loving dog who would thrive with an active person or family that enjoys running, playing, and spending lots of time outdoors. He’s affectionate, loves attention, and isn’t shy about giving plenty of happy licks in return.
He is healthy, agile, and confident around other animals. Otis enjoys being around people of all ages, but he will do best with someone who can match his high energy and continue guiding him with structure and consistency. He already knows a few basic commands and has great potential to learn more with just 15 minutes of daily training.
Otis originally belonged to a farm staff member who, due to relocating to Oregon, was unable to take him along. Since then, our team has been sharing responsibility for his care while working to find him a permanent home. As a small non-profit with limited staff and resources, we are eager to find Otis the loving home he deserves.
Otis is not neutered. He is very energetic and can be somewhat dominant, but he generally does well with most dogs, cats, children, and adults.
His adoption donation is $100.
