Meet Copper, a handsome 4-year-old hound mix, weighing in at about 20 lbs, with a heart as big as his floppy ears! This sweet and loyal guy loves going on walks and spending quality time with his person. He truly shines when he's your one-and-only companion.
Copper's journey hasn't always been easy, and because he's lost trust in humans along the way, he can be reactive and has a history of biting when he feels threatened or unsure. He needs an experienced, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let Copper build confidence at his own pace. Once he forms a bond, Copper is incredibly devoted and affectionate to his person.
Copper would do best in a single-pet home without children, and he'd prefer a home with a single adult, as he can be possessive and thrives on that special one-on-one connection.
Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on monthly prevention, Copper's adoption donation is $250, which includes all of his vetting.
