Scooby has been waiting patiently for his second chance, and we just know his perfect family is out there. If you've been looking for a loyal companion who will happily join you on adventures, greet your friends with a wagging tail, and make you smile every day with his adorable underbite, then Scooby may be your guy!
At 5 years old, Scooby has left the puppy chaos behind and perfected the art of being a wonderful companion. He's fully house-trained and will politely let you know when he needs to go outside. He's well-mannered, trustworthy in the home, and won't go rummaging through your trash looking for trouble.
Scooby's favorite things include:
🐔 Chicken (seriously, he would probably nominate it as the world's greatest invention)
🚗 Car rides
🚶 Leisurely walks
👋 Meeting new people
❤️ Spending time with his humans
His foster mom describes him as "the perfect dog," and it's easy to see why. On her days off, she often takes him to The Villages, where Scooby happily strolls through crowds, soaks up attention from admirers, and shows off his excellent manners. He loves people and enjoys being part of whatever is going on.
At home, Scooby is calm and easygoing. He patiently waits for mealtime, settles in nicely at night, and only uses his bark when there's actually something worth reporting—like someone at the door. He isn't the type to make noise just to hear himself talk.
Scooby's ideal home would be one where he can be the one and only dog. He wants all the love for himself, and honestly, with a face this cute and a personality this wonderful, it's hard to blame him!
The truth is, Scooby has been in foster care far too long. While other dogs have come and gone, he's still waiting for someone to see what his foster family sees every day—a loving, affectionate, well-behaved dog who deserves a family of his own.

Scooby is currently in a foster home, so an approved application is required prior to scheduling a meet-and-greet.
