Shadow
Shadow is a 5-year-old Lab mix weighing 42 pounds. He was surrendered when his owner was forced to move out of state and couldn’t take him. When he first came, he was so happy, tail wagging constantly. As soon as she left and he went into his room (we don’t crate, he’s in a private room), he totally shut down. He is totally depressed, sits at the door, or sleeps. He will barely eat. You can see that he is heartbroken. He’s also confused, as he doesn’t understand why she left him. He was well taken care of; she even brushed his teeth! When you play with him with a squeaky toy, you can see a little happiness in his eyes. This is tearing us apart, so you can only imagine how he feels. His adoption donation is $250, which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. He is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Please help this crushed boy find his forever home so he can be happy again.
