Betty is a 6-year-old Hound/Dalmatian mix weighing 35 pounds. She came to us with her 5 puppies (the “boopers”) from a high kill shelter. They have all been adopted and poor Betty is wondering why she is still here. She may not be the prettiest girl but she is the sweetest, friendliest most lovable girl you will ever meet. It’s obvious she’s had a rough life. She has scars on her face where the hair never grew back. She appears to have had many litters of puppies. She does have heartworms which we are treating, and it was just discovered she has hip Dysplasia, so she is unable to go on long walks. The poor girl was adopted but returned when the hip dysplasia was discovered and they claimed she could not go camping with them. Needless to say, this has upset poor Betty and she was sad at first, but she is her lovable self now. I guess she realized she is better off! She loved her pups and gets along with other dogs but she has not been cat or child tested. Her adoption donation is $250 which includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip and heartworm treatment. She really deserves a loving home so please come to meet her.
